Our Mission
The Economic Forum (TEF) is the official economics club of Watchung Hills Regional High School. We exist to cultivate economic literacy, foster rigorous debate, and empower students to understand the forces that shape our world.
Through our forum, weekly academic features, educational resources, and interactive games, we create a space where students can engage with economics beyond the classroom — exploring everything from monetary policy to international trade, from market dynamics to the intersection of economics and politics.
Our platform is built by students, for students. Whether you're a seasoned AP Economics scholar or just beginning to explore the subject, The Economic Forum has a place for you.
What We Do
The Floor
Open 24/7 discussion forum for debating economic topics, posting questions, and engaging in discourse with fellow members.
Weekly Feature
A flagship academic essay published each week on a topic chosen by member vote, written collaboratively and published by the Exec Board.
Perspectives
A space for members to publish long-form essays and analysis on any economics-adjacent topic, from fiscal policy to politics.
The Academy
Simplified educational resources written by Exec members, designed to make economics accessible to younger students and the community.

Curated collection of the most important pinned posts, polls, and discussions — selected by the Exec Board.
Trading Floor Games

The Executive Board
Sai Bhavsar
Helps oversee the club's operations, coordinates weekly meetings, and ensures the forum's academic goals are met while fostering member engagement.
Abriel Besada
Works alongside the executive team to manage club activities, facilitate high-level economic discussions, and organize events for the student body.
Kartikeya Pant
Develops and maintains the official Economic Forum platform, manages technical infrastructure, and ensures a seamless digital experience for all members.
Tarso Chaves
Manages club communications, keeps detailed records of meetings, tracks member participation, and assists the executive team with administrative tasks.
